This training allows a space for reflection on how we are currently stewarding ourselves. It incorporates self-care techniques, how to intentionally implement self-care in your day, the importance of modeling self-care, and the space to wonder, express, and share. It allows each of us time to reconnect with ourselves.

Hello there! I'm Josie Davis, originally a Floridian but have happily called Cookeville, Tennessee my home for the past fifteen years. My academic journey started at Tennessee Technological University, where I earned a Bachelor of Arts in Human Services, concentrating on Child Development and Family Studies in 2015. Since then, for about ten years, I've honed my skills in the human services field.
Starting in February 2023, I've brought my expertise to AIMHiTN, focusing on infant development, high-risk behavioral management, family systems structure development, young adult skill building, and working with the special needs community. With a passion for service and a dedication to the wellbeing of children and families, I'm excited to contribute to AIMHiTN's mission and impact.
My love for knowledge led me back to academics in 2018, this time culminating in a master’s degree in Human Services: Business and Administration. This experience ignited my passion for non-profit organizations and their mission. As a Clinical Mental Health Supervisor over the last five years, my love for team building, professional growth, and program development has only strengthened.
Away from work, I find joy in the great outdoors, often spotted hiking with my two young children, husband, and fur-baby. Navigating the joys of toddler motherhood with my two boys keeps me on my toes, whether that means stepping on stray Legos or getting lost in the world of Super Mario Nintendo. I thrive on seeking out new experiences and positive growth opportunities each day, both on a personal and professional front.
