Time: 9:30- 11:00am CST/ 10:30- 12pm EST
Description: In this interactive webinar, we’ll explore how deeper listening can transform the way professionals connect with others, including family members and other professionals. Together, we’ll examine the three layers of deeper listening—what, how, and why—and practice applying these skills to create understanding, promote emotional safety, and deescalate conflict.
Using real-world case studies, participants will:
Practice reflecting what they hear to ensure clarity
Tune into nonverbal cues to deepen empathy (how).
Uncover underlying values and emotions to build trust (why).
Engage in interactive scenarios to apply these new skills in meaningful ways.
This session emphasizes connection as a cornerstone of meaningful interactions. You’ll leave with practical tools to enhance both personal and professional relationships, empowering you to be a source of safety and understanding in the lives of the families you support.
