Description: Dr. Whitney will lead a discussion of the impact of the multifaceted trauma of homelessness on young children and their relationships, an historical perspective on where we are in addressing these traumatic experiences for children, families and systems, and some promising practices for infant and early childhood mental health professionals to build on. She will share her own learnings over the years about how important it is to understand housing as a key component of supporting children and families.
