AIMHITN extends an invitation to attend our 2024 Belonging Awards Information Session. This session will provide a comprehensive overview of the awards' core mission, the application process, and the extra resources available for enhancing the inclusive early childhood learning environment.

Biography:

Rion Humphries, BSW, MSW

Rion Humphries is thrilled to be a part of the AIMHITN team. Her journey in social work began at Trevecca Nazarene University, where she received her Bachelor of Science in Social Work. From there, she went on to obtain a Master of Social Work from the University of Tennessee Knoxville, focusing on the clinical aspect.

She has always been active in nonprofit events, using these platforms to share the knowledge and insights gained from her personal experiences. This has enabled her to contribute positively to the lives of children with disabilities across the United States, offering them guidance and support. In 2022, She embraced the opportunity to intern with AIMHITN. While completing her master's degree, she also gathered valuable experience at the Vanderbilt pediatric intensive care unit and psychiatric hospital, and earned a Trauma certification from the UT School of Social Work.

Keena Friday-Gilbert, MBA, MSW, IECMH-E®

Keena Friday-Gilbert is the Director of Belonging at AIMHiTN. She proudly joined the AIMHiTN team in December 2020, and since then, it's been her honor to contribute to AIMHiTN's mission. As a native Tennessean, She has dedicated over 16 years of her professional career to transforming the lives of children and families in our state. Her career has seen her in various roles in nonprofit management, consistently advocating for infant and early childhood mental health. She is a proud alumna of the University of Tennessee, where she earned her Master's degree in Social Work, and is currently furthering her studies in pursuit of a Doctorate in Social Work at the University of Memphis.
