Description: Come learn about "Supporting Little Ones: A Helper's Handbook after Big Emergencies or Disasters", a toolkit designed for clinicians, caregivers, and educators. The relationships between caring adults are an important vehicle for healing post-disaster. This toolkit provides an overview of Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health, trauma symptoms in young children, and how to assess if clinical intervention is necessary. The presenter will discuss the toolkit and how professionals can utilize the toolkit as a guide for a post-disaster.

*This training will be classified as a Health & Safety Training for ECE Workers, in accordance with TN DHS Licensure Rules for Child Care Agencies.

Presenter(s): Anna Arts, LCSW, IMH-E

Anna Arts, LCSW, IMH-E, is the Director of Statewide Initiatives and a licensed clinical social worker at Allied Behavioral Health Solutions. As a therapist, Anna specializes in working with young children, adolescents, and their families. She is passionate about infant and early childhood mental health and walking alongside children and families in their journey towards healing from traumatic or difficult experiences. In addition to seeing clients, Anna supports the development of Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health Consultation systems across the state.
