Hi, I am Brittany Bowman, I now serve as the Community Liaison for the Shelby County/ Memphis area. I joined the AIMHITN team in April 2024. I previously served as  Early Head Start Site Manager to serve our littles and families in Memphis. Before that I served as the Area Coordinator at the YMCA and I worked with school-age children. I have also had the honor of teaching our littles as two different private schools. I hold my B.A. degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of Memphis. I began my journey in Early Childhood Education over 13+ years ago, where  my love and passion ignited to serve our littles and their families. My passion for teaching and learning has helped me foster the relationships with our littles, their  families and our community. I am continuing my education to pursue my Master’s Degree in  Early Childhood Studies - Administration, Management, Leadership, which will help me to continue to work in the field and pour into the community, our littles and families. I hold my endorsement in ECMH-E®. Working in many different roles and sectors I am aware of the needs of the Memphis/ Shelby County area and I am ready to serve our community, and AIMHITN blends in perfectly with my beliefs and values to meet the needs of my community. 

Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my family and furbabies. I also enjoy traveling with my daughter doing competitive gymnastics. I love long walks in the park and at the lake. I also enjoy doing research and reading.
