✺ Frequently asked questions ✺
-
Birth workers support families in their earliest moments together. From pre-conception, to birth, and throughout the postpartum season, the care and support that an infant's caregivers receive plays a part in the mental health of that new child. From education and advocacy, to holding space for processing and being present, to practical assistance, making assessments and referrals - birth workers are on the frontline of education and the prevention of ACEs.
-
No, you do not have to be a doula to attend. We welcome any birth worker (aspiring doula, childbirth educator, lactation consultant, midwife, L&D nurse, etc.) who would like to learn more about the topics presented during our ECHO trainings. But please, tell your doula friends about these special resources!
