Description: Join Alissa Lange, of EC STEM Lab, and Chih-Ing Lim from the STEMIE Center to explore the what, why, and how of preschool STEM teaching and learning for all children, including those with disabilities. Through interactive discussions and activities, the team will share big ideas in STEM, reflections about the value of STEM thinking and doing for young children, and ways to support rich interactions through a strengths-based lens for all children. Participants will leave with new ideas to try in their classrooms, and a wealth of resources to access across these two organizations that can empower educators in diverse contexts to jump in and try new experiences with their children.
