My name is Ginger Angelos, and I hold a Bachelor of Science degree as well as an IMH-E® endorsement. I joined the AIMHiTN team in April 2021, but my entire career has been dedicated to working in Early Childhood and Mental Health

I started my career at Camelot, where for four years I primarily worked with the DCS Preservation Grant, offering in-home services to parents, foster parents, and children. This role segued into a nine-year stint at Northwest Tennessee Head Start. My tenure there saw me wearing multiple hats - from being an Infant/Toddler Teacher and Family Advocate to an ERSEA Specialist. In addition to my hands-on work with families and young children, I also committed myself to training family advocates to assist families with applications, enrollment, and attendance.

My driving passion is ensuring that all those working with children have access to the training they need to empower them to meet the goals of every family and child in the community. And equally important, to also maintain their own well-being for a fulfilling, long-lasting career. I pursued and attained my Infant Mental Health Endorsement swiftly upon joining AIMHiTN, and I'm thrilled to inspire and guide others along this same path.

On the personal front, I graduated from Bethel University, where I had the fortune of meeting my incredible husband, Pete. We've been happily married for 25 years. Our family includes our oldest daughter, Grace, a Veterinary Technologist; our middle daughter, Olivia, a doula who is as passionate about perinatal and infant health as I am; and our youngest, Samuel, a high school senior and avid car and basketball enthusiast. I cherish the time I spend with my family, relish a good book, and thoroughly enjoy the great outdoors.
