Pregnancy and Early Parenting Resources

A Guide to Pregnancy and Early Parenting Resources

AIMHiTN is dedicated to supporting mental health during the crucial perinatal and postpartum stages. Acknowledging the necessity to address racial disparities, we prioritize equality in mental health care, and our specialized resource page reflects this commitment. This platform serves as a carefully assembled hub, offering a range of critical resources such as educational materials, links to therapeutic programs, connections to specialized professionals, diversity resources, and crisis support. We encourage you to explore these resources and also watch our impactful video, available in both English and Spanish, that further illuminates the importance of perinatal and postpartum mental health support

Join our Cause:

  • Spread Awareness: Share our PSA videos available in both English and Spanish (link to English version; link to Spanish version) on your social media, among your team, or with the families you serve.

  • Provide Feedback: Complete this brief survey to share how you've been spreading the word. This will support our applications for future funding and help us identify areas that need more attention.

  • Collaborate: Have one of our team members deliver a concise presentation about the PSA and our toolkit in your class, meeting, or agency. Reach out to Keena Friday-Gilbert at keenafg@aimhitn.org for more information.

  • Donate: Make a contribution to AIMHiTN and receive printed promotional materials like posters, flyers, or postcards to promote the PSA. Contact Keena Friday-Gilbert at keenafg@aimhitn.org for this exchange.

  • Use Our Resources: Digital versions of posters, flyers, and postcards are available free of charge. Utilize and share any resources from the toolkit below with those who could benefit from perinatal mental health and infant/early childhood mental health information. Below you will find our resource toolkit, the PMAD Resource Packet and PMAD Media Packet.

This project has been funded by a Postpartum Support International Community Engagement Grant and through the support of AIMHiTN and PSI-TN. We thank you for joining us in our mission to help children and families across Tennessee!
