Hello, I'm Rion Humphries, and I am thrilled to be a part of the AIMHITN team. My journey in social work began at Trevecca Nazarene University, where I received my Bachelor of Science in Social Work. From there, I went on to obtain a Master of Social Work from the University of Tennessee Knoxville, focusing on the clinical aspect.

I have always been active in nonprofit events, using these platforms to share the knowledge and insights gained from my personal experiences. This has enabled me to contribute positively to the lives of children with disabilities across the United States, offering them guidance and support. In 2022, I embraced the opportunity to intern with AIMHITN. While completing my master's degree, I also gathered valuable experience at the Vanderbilt pediatric intensive care unit and psychiatric hospital, and earned a Trauma certification from the UT School of Social Work. These experiences have given me a comprehensive understanding of the complex needs of diverse individuals.

Passionate about promoting empowerment and inclusivity, I am committed to encouraging parents, educators, and society to recognize and believe in the potential of the next generation.

When I'm not working, I enjoy spending quality time with my loved ones. You can often find me in Nashville, enjoying a cup of coffee with my husband, Josh, or having fun with my adorable 3-year-old sister, Dae.
