I’m Raygn Denton, and I joined the AIMHiTN team in December 2023. I hold a Bachelor’s of Science in Human Ecology with a concentration in Child Development and Family Relations from Tennessee Tech University and a Master’s of Social Work from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. I’m passionate about advocating for healthy foundations for children and providing mental health education for all. This led me to working as a mental health therapist in elementary schools and community mental health settings.

The greatest joy in my work has been the hope given to children and families when they have appropriate support and education. It was also made clear to me in these roles that there was a great need for supporting professionals and families with greater resources and training. This ignited my passion for advocacy work and brought me to AIMHiTN.

When I’m not working, I’m chasing my wild nephews or hanging out with friends. I love traveling to new places and old favorites, reading good books, and having long chats over a good cup of coffee with dear friends.
